Ball mill is widly used for <5-8mm materail grinding or sands making(rod mill). And it is suitable for Metallic and non-metallic ores.
According to the grinding process, ball mill can be divided into Wet type and Dry type grinding mill two kinds of operation and screening methods.
Dry ball mill for horizontal cylindrical rotary device, along the outer gear transmission, two bin, lattice ball mill. The material from the feeding device through the feeding hollow shaft spiral evenly into the first bin of the mill, the bin has stepped lining plate or corrugated lining plate, loaded with different specifications of steel balls, cylinder rotation produces centrifugal force will bring the steel ball to a certain height after falling, the material has a heavy blow and grinding effect. After the material is roughed in the first warehouse, it enters the second warehouse through the single layer partition board. The warehouse is inlaid with flat lining board and steel ball, and the material is further grinded. The powder is discharged through the unloading grate to complete the grinding operation.
According to the grinding medium is divided into Ball mill ( Ceramic ball or steel ball)and Rod mill. According to the principle of “more crushing and less grinding”, controlling feeding granularity is beneficial to prolong the life of wearing parts
